Visiting Medical Students

The Duke Division of Abdominal Transplant Surgery welcomes visiting medical students from LCME-accredited medical schools to rotate on our services for learning experiences and sub-internships.

Residency Programs

The Division of Abdominal Transplant Surgery does not have a residency program. A general surgery residency program is available through the Duke Department of Surgery. See other residency programs offered by the department.

Fellowship Program

The Del Stickel Abdominal Transplant Fellowship Program is a two-year American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) surgical fellowship program approved for liver and kidney transplantation and hepatobiliary training. This program accepts one fellow every year.

CME

The Duke Department of Surgery offers ongoing continuing medical education (CME) courses for members of Duke Medicine.
