Behind every Duke Surgery success are scores of dedicated, talented individuals. Our 2023 Annual Report looks at how all of the people that make up the Department of Surgery are continually striving towards innovation, inclusion, unparalleled delivery of care.
Performing over 28,000 cases was only one of a myriad accomplishments in the Department of Surgery in 2022. We established new clinical divisions, expanded our research mission and partnerships, and continued to train some of the brightest surgical minds.
