The Duke Human Fresh Tissue Laboratory is a state-of-the-art medical skills lab that has been used to provide training to medical professionals from Duke and throughout the country since 1997.
The laboratory is the location for the annual Fresh Cadaver Flap Dissection Course, which offers mentoring by internationally renowned faculty, through prosection and participant dissection.
Duke Plastic Surgery also continuously offers its Microsurgical Techniques & Skills Training Course.
Our annual Craniomaxillofacial Trauma Anatomy Course focuses on improving understanding of anatomy and treatment protocols for residents.
