How to Apply
Positions for the Duke Division of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Residency Program are filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), using the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
Applications should include:
- A personal statement
- Three letters of recommendation from physicians who have worked closely with you during your general surgery residency training or laboratory research or during medical school (for applicants to the integrated program).
Application Due Dates
For the traditional training program, applications are due on January 15, and interviews are conducted in March and April.
For the integrated training program, applications are due on November 15, and interviews are conducted in December and January.
