Education

The Duke Division of Trauma, Acute, and Critical Care Surgery demonstrates strong dedication to excellence and innovation by fostering knowledge and experience through our fellowship program and continuing medical education.

Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care

The one-year Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care has one position available per year. This ACGME-accredited fellowship is devoted to broad-based intensive clinical training primarily based in the Duke surgical intensive care unit.

Professional Education

The goal of the Duke Department of Surgery Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to offer education, training and practice, and guidance in providing exemplary patient care. The Division of Trauma, Acute, and Critical Care Surgery offers several CME opportunities throughout the year.

Residency Programs

The Division of Trauma, Acute, and Critical Care Surgery does not have a residency program. A general surgery residency program is available through the Duke Department of Surgery. See other residency programs offered by the department.
