The Duke Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery is on the forefront of new developments and technology relating to all aspects of venous disease. Clinical research in the vascular surgery laboratory includes the study of:

  • Novel therapies for vascular and cardiovascular surgery
  • Thrombosis related to surgical procedures
  • Clinical inhibitors of blood coagulation proteases
  • The immune response to biologics used in surgery
