Please join Duke Surgery in congratulating Chandler Long, MD, Assistant Professor, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, for his proposal’s acceptance by the PDC Outcomes Research Team (PORT). The PORT initiative seeks to provide Duke clinicians with reporting tools to enhance their productivity in data collection and analysis.
Dr. Long’s proposal is titled "Data Extraction, Database Development and Dashboard Delivery to Facilitate Perioperative Glycemic Control in Vascular Surgery Patients." The initiative will assign a team of technical and analytics specialists to the project who will assist with any of the project’s data needs.
The PORT Steering Committee selected Dr. Long’s proposal based on several factors, including its approach, chance for success, and potential impact. The team will support the project for a three-month period starting in October 2017.
