The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce that six graduates from the Duke University School of Medicine have been accepted into General Surgery residencies starting next year. In contrast, no graduates from Duke went on to pursue a General Surgery residency in 2016, whereas 17 are expected to apply in 2018.
