We work closely with medical and radiation oncology and other surgical specialists in multidisciplinary environment to provide a team approach for complex melanoma patients. Our melanoma surgeons see patients in the Duke Cancer Institute. They evaluate patients as part of multidisciplinary team including medical oncology, pathology, dermatology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology. Our melanoma surgeons lead clinical trials supported by the DCI and are involved in many clinical and translational research projects.
