Division of Surgical Oncology's Jennifer Plichta, MD, MS, Associate Professor of Surgery, has been chosen as the President-Elect for the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC).
Founded in 1985, NCBC is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to excellence in breast health care for the general public.
NCBC's mission as the premier interdisciplinary organization is to be committed to the "development, maintenance, advancement, and improvement of the highest quality patient-focused Breast Centers by supporting education, certification, and interdisciplinary communication among those [they] serve."
