The Division of Pediatric Surgery Ryan Antiel, MD, MS, has been given the Kern National Network (KNN) for Flourishing in Medicine Innovation Award from the Kern Foundation for his project titled The Project on a Good Surgeon.
Through its Reimagination Awards program, the KNN is funding projects that impact the clinical learning and/or practice environments, such as: flourishing in the GME, measuring flourishing in medicine, learner engagement, wellness and leadership, faculty development towards flourishing, and deep dives into caring and character.
