What are your clinical and research interests?

My clinical and research interests include hand surgery, microsurgical reconstruction, and peripheral nerve surgery.

Duke provides exceptional exposure to the full breadth of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Residents have access to abundant clinical and research opportunities, along with the resources and mentorship to pursue their individual interests. Just as importantly, the program fosters an incredibly supportive and collaborative environment that makes it an excellent place to train.

What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?

Durham is a wonderful place to live! The university brings a unique energy and vibrancy to the city, while Durham itself has a strong sense of community and an exceptional food scene. The Triangle also offers easy access to the amenities, entertainment, and ease of travel of a larger city like Raleigh. With both the mountains and the coast just a few hours away, there are also countless options for weekend trips and exploring North Carolina.
