What were you looking for in a residency program?

I was of course looking for a program that would provide me with the depth and breadth of all plastic surgery. However, most importantly for me was a program that I felt would support and lift me up. I wanted to be at a program where I could see there were genuine friendships among the residents. I'm happy to say Duke is definitely one of those places! 

What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?

It has a little bit of everything! The restaurants are delicious, the drive to places is so short, and there are so many green spaces. But what really makes me happy is the warm weather, definitely a major plus for me! 

What do you like to do outside of Duke?

I like to do BJJ and take my dog on hikes or to the park! She's super active and needs loads of attention. But when I am not active, I'm a huge TV and movie watcher.
