Clinical and Research Interests

I am interested in hepatobiliary surgery/surgical oncology and cardiothoracic surgery. I'm mostly interested in clinical research, having done some prior work with meta-analysis and propensity-matching studies.

What were you looking for in a residency program?

A program with excellent clinical training and broad exposure to all the fields of general surgery, as well as a place that helps their residents find appropriate mentors and funding to set them up for success during their research years.
