Dr. Bowles is a frequent collaborator with the DEVOL, and her present studies include evaluating AAV-mediated gene therapies delivered to the heart during ex vivo machine perfusion. In addition, Dr. Bowles and Dr. Carmelo Milano co-direct the Duke Human Heart Repository.
