Five residents in General Surgery recently received the Appleseed Resident Teaching Award. Students within the Duke University School of Medicine present this award annually to residents whose dedication and exemplary teaching go above and beyond the call of duty. The top 10% of residents and interns in each core rotation department receive the award. Winston Liu, MS2, presented the awards during last week’s Surgery Grand Rounds.
