The Duke Center for Human Systems Immunology (CHSI) received the Highly Commended Award for Best Academic/Research Team at the 2024 Vaccine Industry Excellence (ViE) Awards.
"This is a team award and reflects recognition of efforts with our partners and industry collaborators toward our collective goal of identifying antibody correlates or protection," says Georgia Tomaras, PhD, Chief of the Division of Surgical Sciences and Co-Director of the CHSI. "It was a highly competitive list of finalists."
The awards were presented at the 2024 ViE Awards, held in early April in Washington, D.C.
While the overall award went to a team from Stanford University, the Duke CHSI team was recognized from a competitive list of finalists for the commended award.
