Chief Residents in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Earn Competitive Fellowships

Brian H. Hwang, MD, graduating chief resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, will continue his training in an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship endorsed by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) with Beverly Hills Physicians in Beverly Hills, CA. He will have broad exposure to all aspects of aesthetic surgery in the face, breast, and body, as well as many well-established and successful cosmetic practices. 

Silvia Kurtovic, MD, graduating chief resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, will continue her training with a 6-month fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery under the mentorship of Dr. Edward Buchel at the University of Manitoba with a focus on perforator flaps for breast reconstruction. This fellowship will be followed by a 6-month fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery under the mentorship of Dr. Brian Peterson at the Okanagan Health Surgical Center in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Andre P. Marshall, MD, MPH, graduating chief resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, will continue his training with a 12-month fellowship in Aesthetics at the Aesthetic Plastic Surgical Institute in Laguna Beach, California where he will focus on cosmetic surgery of the face and body. He will work with the immediate past president of the Aesthetics Society, Dr. Dan Mills.
