What were you looking for in a residency program?

I was interested in a program that would provide diverse and exemplary clinical training that would serve as a strong base for any surgical career, and also provide me with opportunities and support for research and education. I also sought a program that had a strong resident community and one where I felt supported as well as challenged and inspired. Duke offers all of these things, and more.

What do you like to do outside of Duke?

Explore Durham and the surrounding area, discover new restaurants, hike and get outside, run on East Campus and the American Tobacco Trail, spend time with friends and family
