Clinical and Research Interests

My clinical interests are in aerospace medicine and in global and community health. I have a focus on providing free community health care as well as volunteering my time to those that need it the most. I also have a passion for aerospace medicine and how emergency medicine can have a role in preparing astronauts for space travel.

My research interests are also heavily imbedded into my clinical interests of community health and aerospace medicine.

What were you looking for in a residency program?

My expectations for a residency program was to have a good balance of community health with the resources to help that said community, while simultaneously receiving an excellent education. Duke simply provides all of those things in a close knit, supportive, family atmosphere.
