Clinical and Research Interests
Broadly, I am interested in combining disparate skillsets in clinical surgery, materials science, molecular biology, and device engineering to tackle problems germane to wound healing and reconstruction.
What were you looking for in a residency program?
I was seeking 3 key attributes in a training program and department: (1) exceptional clinical training, (2) committed clinical and scientific mentors, and (3) a track record of supporting physician-scientists. Duke does an exceptional job in meeting these needs.
