Division of Minimally Invasive Surgery's Keri Seymour, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery, has been chosen as the President for the Noth Carolina Chapter of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
Founded in 1913, the ACS is a scientific and educational association of surgeons to improve the quality of care for surgical patients by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
The NC Chapter functions through the coordinated activity of its individual members, for the support and improvement of the practice of surgery in the state. With the help of an executive director, the NC Chapter relies entirely on the energy and initiative of interested NC surgeons.
