The Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery’s Kevin Southerland, MD, was invited by the Society for Vascular Surgery Basic and Translational Research Committee (SVS BTRC) to present his research as part of a Plenary Session at the 2023 Vascular Annual Meeting (VAM). His research topic is titled Cellular Mechanisms of Tissue Repair in the Ischemic Limb.
The SVS BTRC was unanimously impressed by Dr. Southerland’s history of research and scholarship relating to vascular disease, and even more so by his dedication to mentorship of early vascular surgeons.
VAM 2023 will be held in National Harbor, Maryland, June 14–17, 2023.
