Adrian Camarena, MD, Receives the R38 Duke Sci-StARR Award

General Surgery resident Adrian Camarena, MD, was awarded the NHLBI R38 award for his research proposal titled “Targeted Reversal of the Local Inflammatory Response in Blunt Thoracic Trauma Using sCD154 loaded PEG Microparticles in Aged Rats.”

Dr. Camarena will be a part of the Duke Science Clinician Investigator – Stimulating Access to Research in Residency (SCI-StARR) R38 Program.
