Jorge Santana-Santini
Research Technician III

Originally from Puerto Rico, I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2020, where I worked on Evolutionary Genetics research as an undergrad. In 2021, I joined the PRIME Post-Baccalaureate Research Scholar at Duke, focusing on brain-tumor microenvironment translational research with the López Lab in the Department of Pathology. In the fall of 2023, I joined the Pollara lab. My goal is to pursue cancer and immunology research as a physician or researcher. My hobbies include reading, writing, and finding new places to visit in North Carolina.
