Lab Research Analyst II

I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a degree in Biochemistry. In 2017, I began my  research career as a technician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in the Reeves Lab, where we focused on developing vaccines and immunotherapies to harness the antiviral capabilities of natural killer (NK) cells against viral infections such as HIV-1. In 2021, I moved with the Reeves lab to Duke University, where my research focused on understanding the metabolic perturbations that NK cells undergo during chronic viral infections. In the Fall of 2024, I joined the Pollara Lab, where I am working on a neutrophil antiviral responses to HIV-1. Outside of work I enjoy traveling to pursue my hobbies of surfing, skiing and kayaking in new places.
