I am the senior scientist in the DEVOL and provide guidance and oversight across all laboratory operations. Our laboratory is truly multi-disciplinary, drawing from diverse fields including immunology, biomedical engineering, virology, and biochemistry, and offers a wide variety of unique and challenging research questions. The DEVOL produces exceptional scientific contributions, as well as provides a superb training environment for surgical resident, post-doctoral, and graduate student trainees. Those wishing to collaborate or consult with the laboratory are encouraged to reach out to Drs. Barbas, Hartwig, or myself. Outside of the workplace, I occupy my time with “Type II fun” activities like running, woodworking, and mountaineering.
