I am a medical student here at Duke University with a strong interest in general thoracic surgery and lung transplantation. My primary interests concern optimizing gene therapy delivery using ex vivo lung perfusion in animal models. Following my graduation, I plan to apply to general surgery residency, with the ultimate goal of becoming an academic cardiothoracic surgeon. Outside of academics, I enjoy sea kayaking and studio cycling.
