My research interests are using Ex-vivo organ perfusion technology to help determining and optimizing allograft health during organ preservation process, ways to mitigate allografts ischemia-reperfusion injury, and studying the immunological mechanisms that contribute to allograft rejection and ways to induce immunological tolerance in the transplanted allografts. My long-term career goal is to become a transplant surgeon who contributes to the progress in the field and works on transferring the science from laboratory to bedside. In my free time I like to read, play chess, listen to music and exercise.
