Bender, TaylorAs more and more of the population of the United States meets the criteria for obesity and new options for treatment develop, front-line providers are tasked more often with determining the best treatment option for and management of obesity. Continued cooperation and integration of all specialties or multidisciplinary treatment of obesity, has increased the value of care, improved the patient's experience, and resulted in better outcomes. Diverse Pathways for Obesity: Ways to Support a Patient's Journey will outline available treatment options including diet, psychology, medication, and surgical options. Providers will be given critical information on the effects relating to cardiology, diabetes, and liver function and will gain insight for both pediatric and adult patients.
