Samantha Minc, MD, MPH, Awarded NIH R03 Grant

Samantha Minc, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Surgery, has been awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) R03 grant to support her project “Understanding Diabetes and Peripheral Artery Disease-Related Amputation Disparities in North Carolina.”

The R03 grant provides limited, short-term funding to support small, self-contained research projects, including pilot studies and secondary data analyses.

Dr. Minc’s study will run from August 12, 2025, through July 31, 2027.
