Kevin Southerland, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, has been received the Society of University Surgeons (SUS) George P. Yang, MD, PhD, Early Stage Investigator Award.
Dr. Southerland received the funding award for his research project titled, "Il-6 Inhibition as a Novel Strategy to Reduce Amputation and Death in Peripheral Arterial Disease."
