Kateryna Krynychka, MD, PhD, Receives ATC Young Investigator Award, WTS Colson Scholarship

Kateryna Krynychka, MD, PhD, General Surgery Resident, has been selected as a winner of the Young Investigator Award to attend the American Transplant Congress (ATC) 2026, being held in June 2026 in Boston, MA.

The award is presented by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) and the American Society of Transplantation (AST). 

Dr. Krynychka has also been selected as a recipient of the Women in Thoracic Surgery (WTS) 2026 Colson Scholarship recipient. The award helps to offset travel-related expenses for Dr. Krynychka to attend the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) 106th Annual Meting and the WTS 3rd Annual Conference.
