Division of Community General Surgery Providers Win Clinical Care Awards

Two members of the Duke Division of Community General Surgery, which operates as Central Carolina Surgery (CCS), were recently recognized for their service to Cone Health.

Christopher White, MD, Clinical Faculty in the Department of Surgery, was named Physician of the Year at Wesley Long Hospital, and Kelly Osbourne, PA-C, was named Advanced Practitioner of the Year at Moses Cone Hospital.

CCS is the sole general surgery practice in Greensboro, NC, with additional locations in Burlington and Asheboro. The practice joined the Duke Department of Surgery and the Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) in July 2022, with its physicians and advanced practice providers becoming clinical faculty in the newly established Duke Division of Community General Surgery.
