Bruce A. Sullenger, PhD, Joseph W. and Dorothy W. Beard Distinguished Professor of Experimental Surgery, was elected the inaugural Vice President on the charter board for the Society of RNA Therapeutics.

The Society for RNA Therapeutics is a newly formed nonprofit global network with goals of advancing RNA therapeutics research, education, and technological advancements for the benefit of world health. Learn more about the Society on its website at https://srnat.org.

Dr. Sullenger's translational research laboratory focuses on development of RNA based therapeutic agents for the potential treatment of a range of diseases.
