Brian Shaw, MD, Abdominal Transplant Surgery Fellow, has been selected by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) Foundation to receive the 2025 ASTS-Veloxis Fellowship in Transplantation Grant.
The ASTS-Veloxis Fellowship in Transplantation Grant is intended to support training with a comprehensive experience in the clinical aspects of transplant surgery, as well as involvement in related clinical, translational, and laboratory research.
Dr. Shaw was awarded the grant for his proposal titled: "Creation of a Clinically Relevant Signature of Costimulation Blockade Resistance." He will be recognized for this achievement at the 2025 World Transplant Congress (WTC) in August.
