Allison Martin, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor of Surgery, has been selected as a 2024 Health Disparities Research Institute Scholar.
The goal of the Health Disparities Research Institute (HDRI) is to provide participants with a broad overview of the leading issues facing minority health and health disparities research enhance grantsmanship abilities. Activities will include lectures, seminars, interactive sessions, a mock grant review session and small group discussions with leading scientists and NIH staff.
As a selected scholar, Dr. Martin is invited to attend the 2024 HDRI in August, hosted by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities.
