Amanda Garcia, Administrative Coordinator
"Amanda has been with the Department of Surgery since 2005 and was recently elevated to Administrative Coordinator, having risen from Staff Assistant, to Administrative Assistant, and finally to Team Lead. In her more than 15 years with Vascular Surgery she has learned and supported most, if not all, aspects of our clinical and administrative operations.
She has become a highly effective manager to our staff assistant team, and an always reliable resource to our faculty. She has played an integral role in the many process improvement projects implemented over the last 18 months, and has been particularly instrumental in our overhaul of case scheduling workflow and block management."
