The trauma and critical care program works in cooperation with a number of departments and divisions within Duke Medicine, including pediatrics, anesthesiology, neurology, and internal medicine.
The Duke Trauma Center is designated a Level I Trauma Center by the state of North Carolina and is nationally verified as a Level I Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons.
We provide services at Duke University Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, and Durham Regional Hospital.
Our multidisciplinary team is engaged in research as well as medical education through our fellowship program.
