Please join Duke Surgery in congratulating Sreeja M. Natesan, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Emergency Medicine, who was selected by the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors (CORD) to receive the 2016 CORD Faculty Teaching Award!

The Faculty Teaching Award recognizes the contributions of a junior faculty member to the education of emergency medicine residents. Recipients of the award are evaluated based on the following qualities:

  • Commitment to teaching
  • Contributions to the residency program
  • Involvement in state or national activities that promote resident education
