The General Surgery Interest Group is hosting its annual Surgery Research Mixer on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 5:15pm on the 6th floor of the Trent Semans Center. Last year we had about 70 attendees come, a mixture of medical students, residents, and attendings. Students were able to learn about various ongoing research projects from faculty members as well as hear about the experiences of residents and students currently in their lab. This will be a wonderful opportunity for students to learn about the wide variety of research options within the Department of Surgery and will assist in finding a mentor for their research year.
Food and beverages will be provided at this event!
