Resident driven and family friendly with a focus on education and training.
What are the strengths of the Duke program?
Personal attention to clinical excellence along with many research opportunities. Faculty is phenomenal. Great curriculum with many hands-on learning experiences.
What advice do you have for incoming interns?
Take time for yourself. Residency is tough. Finding a good life work balance is key.
What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?
Easy access to many family-friendly activities like the Durham Farmers' Market and Durham Bulls games but close to Raleigh, Asheville, and Wilmington for the big city, the mountains, or the beach.
What do you like to do outside of Duke?
Hike in Eno River State Park, eat BBQ in Durham or Hillsborough, and go to Durham Bulls games with the family.
