Duke is one of a small number of programs that offer an NIH T32 training grant, and we are the only program whose grant is designed to focus on clinical research.
This T32 training grant provides support for a two-year program in outcomes research, clinical trials, and translational research at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI), in collaboration with Duke research and clinical faculty.
The T32 fellowship is available to those who have completed their residency. Work will culminate in a Master of Health Sciences in Clinical Research or a related degree. Educational opportunities are also available through this program at the Duke Global Health Institute.
For MDs, a clinical and surgical practice opportunity is also available, with the goal of facilitating transition to an academic position.
