In Response to COVID-19

Out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our attendees, faculty, vendors and staff, the Planning Committee has decided to turn the 2020 APP Transplant Bootcamp to a virtual CME experience on Friday, October 9, 2020. We are in the process of planning and designing the program to fit this new format in a way that is accessible, engaging, and still offers the premium learning experience you'd expect from Duke University School of Medicine. We will update this page with more information in the coming weeks. We hope you'll join us live online this fall!

Agenda

Registration will re-open once the online course has been created. See the FAQ below

Course Overview

The Duke Transplant Advanced Practice Providers Bootcamp is a pre-summit (Solid Organ Transplant Summit) meeting for NP’s and PA’s in the field of solid organ transplantation. This intensive educational program is designed to facilitate the APP’s role in the management of transplant patients. The event will provide updates on current protocols, introduce new and exciting topics in the transplant community, and discuss the projects that transplant APP's are involved in nation-wide. The VIRTUAL program will include sessions applicable to all solid organ transplant providers and breakout sessions to focus on abdominal, lung, and heart transplants.

All APP Bootcamp attendees are encouraged to register for the Duke Solid Organ Transplant Summit to be held live online on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Click here for more information.

Virtual Bootcamp Frequently Asked Questions

If I register, but can't attend the live meeting, will I be able to watch it later?

Yes! But please be patient... After the live virtual conference ends, we will work as quickly as we can to process the recording and submit it for accreditation as enduring content. Registration will reopen later for those who may have missed the live online event registration deadline. Stay tuned!

Will I get CME credit for watching the recordings?

Yes. We are planning to create an online CME course with all of the recorded content from the Bootcamp. In order to obtain credit, you'll need to answer a few quiz questions and complete the course evaluation. All registered attendees will receive an email when the online course is available with instructions to log in.

How many CME credits will I get?

The online course will have the same number of credits as the live virtual activity. See the accreditation section below for credit designation.

When does registration close and do I need to register in advance in order to access the recordings later?

Registration for the live virtual conference closes Wednesday, October 7th at 5pm ET. We encourage you to register in advance if you plan on viewing the recordings, however, once the online course is available, registration will reopen for online access only.

How will I join the live virtual Bootcamp?

If you registered in advance, you will receive the Zoom link to join the meeting in an email on October 8th.
